
| | John Stout is an arbitrator, mediator and facilitator at Stout Dispute Resolution Inc. He is on the Ontario Ministry of Labour’s list of approved grievance arbitrators, the Police Arbitration Commission’s register of approved arbitrators, and is an approved adjudicator under the Canada Labour Code. John's practice includes mediating and adjudicating both rights and interest disputes in the private and public sectors. He is named as a roster arbitrator in a number of collective agreements and is the Chief Arbitrator for all contracting out grievances between Essar Steel Algoma Inc. and United Steelworkers Local 2251. John is a graduate of the University of Windsor (B.A. 1989, B.A. (hons) 1990, LL.B. 1993). After his call to the bar in 1995, he practised law in Toronto, first as an associate in a small firm specializing in labour and administrative law, and then as a partner at a prominent labour and administrative law firm. John is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education programs. |
