Beth Symes is a partner in the law firm of Symes & Street in Toronto. A graduate of the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University, she was called to the Ontario Bar in 1978. Beth practises in the areas of administrative law, labour law, civil litigation, and equality rights, including Charter litigation. Beth was awarded the Law Society of Upper Canada Medal in 1996 and was the Gordon F. Henderson Lecturer in Human Rights in 2003. She is a bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
