| David Tarasoff is a partner in Hastings Labour Law Office in Vancouver, British Columbia. He has practised labour law since 1993. Following articles with a union-side labour law firm in Vancouver, he worked as in-house counsel for both the Hospital Employees' Union and the Canadian Union of Public Employees. David then went on to represent a wide range of private and public sector unions as a lawyer in private practice and continues to do so with Hastings Labour Law Office.
David maintains membership in the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and is past chair of the Labour Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association (B.C. Branch). He has written and spoken on labour law for the Continuing Legal Education Society of B.C. and other organizations. David received a B.A. from U.B.C. in 1986, and an LL.B. from U.B.C. in 1989. He was called to the British Columbia bar in 1993.
