Lynn Thomson graduated from the University of Ottawa with her Honours B.A. in 1982, and completed the joint LL.B./M.B.A. program in 1986. Lynn articled with Hicks Morley and has been a partner there since 1993. Lynn's practice involves representation of a wide variety of public and private sector based clients. In addition to a strong advocacy-based practice, including appearances in arbitrations, Boards of Inquiry, Labour Board hearings and the courts, Lynn also represents clients in collective bargaining. On the preventative side, Lynn works directly with clients to assist in decision-making designed to avoid unnecessary litigation, and has also worked extensively on presentations and seminars to arm all managers with the tools necessary to oversee an organization's human resource strategies effectively.
