
| | Shelley Trewin is a Managing Partner at Weiler, Maloney, Nelson, specializing in Labour Law (Management Side) and Employment and Administrative Law. She previously practiced as an associate in the Labour and Employment Law Group, joining the Weilers partnership in August 2005. Shelley has an established labour relations and employment law practice with a particular emphasis and interest in human rights matters. Through advice, representation and education, Shelley serves unionized and non-unionized, public and private, and provincial and federal employers throughout Ontario, appearing on behalf of clients before the court, mediation, arbitration, and negotiations as well as a number of statutory and regulatory boards, tribunals and panels.
Shelley also is a member of the Thunder Bay Business Women’s Network, Advocates’ Society, Ontario Forest Business Association, Kakabeka Falls Curling Club, serves as a Director on the Alumni Association of Lakehead University Board, continues to author and co-author editorials to legal, area and firm publications and participates in related presentations and workshops locally and throughout Northwestern Ontario.
Shelley received her B.A. in political studies from Lakehead University (1994) and her LL.B from the University of Windsor (1997). She was called to the bar in 1999. |
