Michael Wagner became the managing partner of Roper Greyell LLP in April 2011, and is enjoying this new role in conjunction with his busy practice. Mike provides strategic advice and legal representation to a broad range of businesses in the public and private sectors, representing employers in all aspects of employment and labour law and frequently appears in court, at the Labour Relations Board, at arbitration hearings and at the Human Rights Tribunal.
Mike’s practice style enables him to effectively address issues before they become formal disputes, and to resolve them in a favourable, private, and cost-effective manner. He has developed particular experience in the areas of human rights law and attendance management and regularly provides seminars and workshops in these areas to organizations, human resources professionals, and other lawyers.
Mike had a long and varied background before entering law. He has been, at times and among other things: a fishing guide, a mill worker, a biologist, a psychologist, a human resources officer, and an opera singer. |
