| Dr. Robert Willette is President of Duo Research Inc., a private consulting firm, located in Eagle, Colorado. Since 1981, Duo Research has assisted government agencies and private companies with alcohol and drug testing programs and provides consulting and quality assurance services, including: evaluations of alcohol and drug testing methods and approaches; laboratory inspections; blind quality control programs, and expert testimony. Dr. Willette has held several research and teaching positions prior to joining the National Institute on Drug Abuse in 1972, serving as the Chief of the Research Technology Branch until 1981. Dr. Willette is serving as a consultant on alcohol and drug testing programs to government agencies and to numerous national and international firms, including those in Canada. He participated in the development and implementation of the National Laboratory Certification Program for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and currently serves as an NLCP inspector. Dr. Robert Willette has published numerous research articles, reviews, and book chapters, and is a frequent invited speaker. Dr. Willette received a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Ferris State University and a doctorate in medicinal chemistry from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Society of Forensic Toxicologists, American Association of Clinical Chemistry, and the American Chemical Society. |
