Geoff Williams is the Director of Labour Relations for the Ontario Public School Boards' Association. He was previously the director of education of Avon Maitland District School Board from 2003 to 2008. Prior to becoming director, Geoff’s various superintendent of education assignments included human resources. He has recently provided services to the Ontario Ministry of Education, and the Council of Ontario Directors of Education. He assisted OPSBA in provincial negotiations with OSSTF in the last round of teacher bargaining, and facilitated the provincial boards’ team during the Early Childhood Educator bargaining in the spring of 2010. Geoff assumed the position of Director of Labour Relations for OPSBA in 2010. He received the Canadian Association of School Administrators National Xerox EXL award in 2008 for exemplary leadership in education, and was recognized by the American Association of School Administrators as Canadian Superintendent of the Year in 2009.
