MICKEY WOODARD

Mickey Woodard practices at MacPherson Leslie Tyerman in Saskatoon where he represents and advises employers. He joined his present firm in 2006 from the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission where he practiced for 25 years, most recently as Senior Counsel. He conducted nearly all inquiry and tribunal presentations for the Commission during that time, as well as all appeals in the Saskatchewan Court of Queen’s Bench and Saskatchewan Court of Appeal. He participated in a number of ground breaking decisions on reasonable accommodation, systemic discrimination and sexual harassment, including a number of precedent-setting cases at the Supreme Court of Canada. He now practices in both Saskatchewan and Alberta. Mickey received his Queen’s Counsel designation in 1998.
