
| | David Yazbeck is a partner at Raven, Cameron, Ballantyne & Yazbeck LLP. In 1988, David obtained a Philosophy and Political Science Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University in Hamilton. In 1991, he received a Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen's University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1993. David practises exclusively in the area of labour relations, human rights, judicial review and appeals, Charter litigation and employment law, with a particular emphasis on the federal public sector. He has also developed a special interest in employee free speech, and has represented or advised whistleblowers in a variety of contexts. His practice is restricted to the representation of unions, employees and human rights complainants before a variety of administrative tribunals. David regularly appears in Federal Court on judicial review applications and appeals. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and has taught public sector labour law to union activists at the Labour College of Canada. David often speaks on labour, human rights and whistleblowing issues. |
