Do provisions in your collective agreement or employment policies violate human rights and privacy laws? This session will examine language governing matters such as sick leave, deemed termination, last chance agreements, accrual of benefits, seniority, job security and other common provisions. What statutory requirements will be "read in" to your collective agreements and policies? In unionized environments, what provisions should be included in the collective agreement, and which ones avoided?
Workshop participants will be able to bring their own employee handbooks and collective agreements to the session. Don’t miss this opportunity to have a check-up from the experts. |
